Check-in time is at 4pm. Often the apartments can be ready before that time upon availability.

To get to your apartment or chalet you have different possibilities:

1. You can move into your apartment or chalet on your own. Free handcarts are available at the tourist office for a deposit. We leave the keys at the apartment to ensure you can get in when It’s ready. Please call us when you are at the apartment or text us beforehand and we can explain where you find the keys.

2. You can call a taxi:

As Saas-Fee is car-free you are only allowed to drive to the multi-storey car park at the beginning of the village. Every visitor must enter the car park when arriving in Saas-Fee (also for parking lot number 1). The terminals A and B are only used for loading and unloading your luggage. Please unload your luggage in one of these two terminals and park your car.

In some apartments we are happy to accomodate your dog. We charge an additional cleaning fee of CHF 50.00. Please let us know if you plan to bring your dog(s) and indicate this when booking an apartment or chalet.

If you wish to change the bed linen during your stay, we can organize this. We charge CHF 25.00/bed (double bed CHF 50.00). Please let us know at least 2 days before the change. If you wish any additional cleaning during your stay we can organize cleaning staff for you. The cleaning costs are CHF 55.00/h and we would need to know this at least 3 days in advance.

In the description of the apartments you can see what coffee machine is in the apartment. If there is a Nespresso machine, you can buy the Nespresso compatible capsules in Migros & Coop.

There are basic supplies at the beginning of your stay in all apartments and chalets. This is toilet paper for the first use, kitchen towels, hand soap, basic cleaning material and some tabs for the dishwasher (if there is one in the apartment). All these items are meant for the first few days but you will have to provide yourself with additional supplies after a couple of days. There are basic spices in most apartments, which you can use.

There is free wifi in all our apartments & chalets.

We can provide a baby cot and also high chairs. Please let us know at least 3 days before your arrival if you would like to rent a baby cot and/or high chair. We charge CHF 30.00/stay for a baby cot and CHF 20.00/stay for a high chair. We do ask you to bring the bed linen for the baby cot yourself.

If you are missing anything in your apartment or chalet, please let us know. Many things like Fondue Pot or Raclette oven can be rented out if needed.

Saas-Fee imposes fees for garbage bags. Therefore, only designated orange garbage bags can be used. You find one orange garbage bag in your apartment, if you need more you can buy them in every grocery store. Before you leave, please bring the garbage bags to the small wooden bin houses which are used as bin compounds. You can find these all over Saas-Fee. They are also marked in the village map.

All our guests receive SaastalCard. We will send you the Cards digitally before your arrival or will put the Cards in the apartment. With your SaastalCard you get several discounts in Saas-Fee, e.g. discount for the parking or for ski schools. In Summer, all cable cars except the Metro Alpin can be used for free during your stay. You can also use the bus within the Saas Valley for free the whole year round. You find more information about the SaastalCard here.

We always send the invoice for your stay before your arrival. It’s best if you wire the open amount before your holidays. Alternatively, you can pay the residual payment in our office during your stay. Please make sure that all open amounts are paid before your departure.

Our regular opening times are Monday through Thursday from 2pm – 5.30pm. During off Season it is possible that we have irregular opening times. If that is the case, please contact us to arrange a time to meet at the office.

We accept all major debit and credit cards, but we must add the commission of the card companies to the final bill (3%).

In all of our apartments and chalets you find a village map where these things are marked. We are trying to provide everything that you might need in your first couple of days. Switzerland is very small, a fact that you should take advantage of. There are lots of things to explore not just in Saas-Fee but in the whole canton Valais. You can embark on a day trip to our famous neighbour Zermatt, enjoy a relaxing SPA day in Leukerbad, visit the Unesco world heritage Aletsch glacier or explore other ski ares in Valais like “Quatre Valais”, Crans Montana or Porte du Soleil. There are several good restaurants and bars in Saas-Fee or in the whole valley to choose from, depending on what you are looking for. We are very grateful if you can help us with those few points before your departure:

• Take off the bed linen
• Finish the washing up and put on the dishwasher
• Turn off the refrigerator and leave it open
• Bring the rubbish bags to the wooden rubbish houses, take care of the recycling
• Leave the keys on the table and door open (we have to charge CHF 60.00 for a lost key)

Check-out time is 9am. If you leave earlier, it would be great if you can let us know beforehand. In some cases a late check out is possible. Please understand that we can only inform about a possible late check-out one day before departure (depending on which of our apartments are being cleaned first). You want to enjoy another skiing day in Saas-Fee? Then please contact us, usually there is a place where you can store your luggage until you are ready to leave.

We recommend booking a taxi well ahead of your departure day if you like to use a taxi service for your departure. Especially in high season, taxis won’t be available spontaniously in the mornings of busy departure days.
