From what time is check-in available?

Check-in starts at 4:00 p.m. Apartments are often ready earlier, but this depends on availability and must be requested in advance.

How do I get to my apartment or chalet?

There are several ways to reach your apartment or chalet:
1. Saas-Fee is small, so you can easily walk to your accommodation. Handcarts are available free of charge at the Tourist Office during its opening hours.

2. You can call an electric taxi:

3. We also have UBER drivers in Saas-Fee. You can conveniently book a ride via the UBER app.

We always inform our guests ahead of the arrival where they can find the key of the apartment or chalet, so you can conveniently check-in yourself.

Where can I park my car?

Since Saas-Fee is car-free, you must park your vehicle at the entrance to the village in the parking garage. All visitors first drive into the multi-story car park. Terminals A and B are designated areas for unloading your luggage. Please unload your luggage at one of these terminals before parking your car either on a lower level or on the rooftop.

Apartment Amenities

Each accommodation is equipped with basic supplies for the first few days. This includes toilet paper, hand soap, cleaning products, and a few dishwasher tablets (if a dishwasher is available). Please note that toilet paper and dishwasher tablets are only provided for the initial days of your stay. If you need more, you can easily purchase them at Migros or Coop.

What is the SaastalCard used for?

All our guests receive the SaastalCard. This card offers various discounts in Saas-Fee, such as reduced parking fees and free use of the PostBus within the Saas Valley throughout the year.
In summer, the SaastalCard also gives you free access to most cable cars (except for the Metro Alpin and the ski area).

How does waste disposal work, and where is the recycling station?

Saas-Fee charges a fee for waste disposal. Therefore, only official orange garbage bags may be used. At the beginning of your stay, you will find one orange bag in your apartment. Additional bags can be purchased at Migros, PAM, or Coop (at the cash counter)
Full garbage bags can be disposed of in the small waste huts located throughout the village (marked on the village map). On Tuesday and Friday mornings, you can also place the orange bags by the roadside for collection.

What should I do if something is missing in our apartment?

If anything is missing in your apartment or chalet, please let us know. Items such as fondue or raclette sets can be borrowed upon request

Baby Cot / High Chair

You can request a baby cot and/or high chair when booking. We will prepare these items in your accommodation before your arrival.

• Baby cot: CHF 30.00 (flat rate). Please bring your own bed linen for the baby cot.
• High chair: CHF 20.00 (flat rate)

Wi-Fi

All accommodations offer free Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi password can be found inside the apartment

Coffee

Each accommodation lists which type of coffee machine is available.
If a Nespresso machine is provided, compatible capsules from Migros or Coop own brands can be purchased in Saas-Fee

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in selected apartments and chalets. A one-time cleaning fee of CHF 50.00 applies. Please inform us about your dog(s) when making your reservation

Which excursions in Valais are recommended?

Switzerland may be small, but that’s one of its many advantages. There is so much to discover — not only in Saas-Fee, but throughout the entire canton of Valais. Whether you visit our famous neighbor Zermatt, enjoy a relaxing spa day in Leukerbad, or explore the Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site — the possibilities are almost endless.

Who can I contact for freeride & ski tours

Both Saas-Fee Guides (in Saas-Fee) and Active Dreams (in Saas-Grund) offer a wide range of activities including off-piste skiing, ski touring, climbing, glacier tours, and snowshoe hikes — both in winter and summer.

Are there any Ski schools in Saas-Fee?

Yes, there are three different ski schools in Saas-Fee:

• Eskimos Ski School Saas-Fee
• Swiss Ski School Saas-Fee
• Ski Zenit (also operates in summer)

Where can I rent ski and snowboard equipment?

There are many shops in Saas-Fee where you can rent skis and snowboards. Our partner, Egginer Sport, offers our guests a 15% discount on rental equipment

What should I do before leaving the accommodation?

Before you check out of your holiday apartment on your departure day, we kindly ask you to:

• Remove the bed linen
• Turn off the fridge and leave the door open
• Wash the dishes or start the dishwasher
• Dispose of your waste in the official orange garbage bags and place them in the village waste huts; bottles should be taken to the recycling station
• Leave the key on the dining table and the apartment unlocked (Lost keys cost CHF 60.00)

What time is check-out?

Check-out is at 9am.
If you plan to leave early in the morning, please let us know in advance. In some cases, a late check- out may be possible — depending on availability and upon request.
If you would like to spend more time in Saas-Fee after check-out, we can assist you with storing your luggage for the day.

How do I get back to the parking garage on departure day?

If you require a taxi on your departure day, we recommend booking it a few days in advance, especially during busy weekends or high season, as taxis may not always be available on short notice.
